Tabletop gaming isn't the cheapest hobby in the world, so board game deals are essential if you want to expand your collection without breaking the bank. A discount that immediately grabbed my attention was the massive discount on the enormous Ticket to Ride Legacy game, which is now $95.99 at Amazon instead of $120. I've never seen it for less. Similarly, the huge booster box for Pokemon's Twilight Masquerade expansion has dipped to £99.50 at Magic Madhouse from £155. That's not bad by any stretch of the imagination.

Board games are often discounted, and it isn't an average day in the office without something like Catan or Pandemic enjoying a reduction. However, that doesn't mean all board game deals are created equal. Most of the time, these 'savings' are actually pretty standard.
